Khwaja Muin Ud Din Chisty, a sufi saint - is one of the important Muslim pilgrim center in India. He came to ajmer from Persia in 1192 and lived here tin 1233. Pilgrims and Sufis from all over the world comes to this place on the anniversary of the saint death called "URS", a six days festival in the seventh month as per lunar calendar. Lots of pilgrims also come to this place in the month of "Ramjan". Before entering into the premises of this Dargaha, cover your head with a cap or scarf. Pilgrims belief that the saints spirit will intercede in matters on their behalf, so the notes and holy strings attached to the railing aroung Dargaha in the form of thanks or requests.
